Angela joins us as part of the NCI PAR 15-155 project "Improving Anatomical Pathology in Sub-Saharan Africa to Support Cancer Care", where she serves as the regional project coordinator. She has completed her Master of Science degree in management with an emphasis in Health Administration from the University of Glamorgan- South Wales and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.
Prior, Angela worked in the National health system – UK (NHS- trust) where she led and coordinated a multidisciplinary team towards provision of quality services for patients in accordance to the health and social care quality commission. Most recently, Angela has worked with RCPATH in delivery of a DFID funded project, focusing on the improvement of clinical decision-making and increased patient safety through measures designed to raise the standards and quality of specific laboratory services by and tests that support the diagnosis and management of health conditions related to Millennium Development Goals 4.1, 5.2 and 6.3.
